Music
A quick overview of my new band and some from the past.
I am about as amateur as a musician can get, but I enjoy playing. Somehow I have convinced people to play with me, or to allow me to play with them. Feel free to check out some of the music in the player below!

There is a new project is currently in the works! We are a few songs deep, and hope to have something to share in the near future. Scott and I have paired up again, and are joined by John Masino of Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start (UUDD) and Sean Grieve, both of whom also play in It's A King Thing.

Parkour
Parkour, featuring Scott Rumble and a couple friends from college, was an unusual amalgamation of indie, emo, math, and a bit of catchiness for good measure. The name of the band was poorly timed, as the urban sport by the same name became popular in the United States almost immediately happened. Redditors did not love that we were not high-energy techno music. Also, I was fat.
Parkour started out as a rough side project and I hastily recorded an EP with Scott Rumble and Steve Poponi of UUDD before moving out of the area. A few years after moving back, we solidified the lineup and gave the band another shot.

TRB
My first college band, This Radiant Boy, was a Superchunk clone. We played fun, catchy riff, high-pitched falsetto, brain-worm songs in the right time at the right place. We never really had a refined or mature sound, but we had fun playing shows up and down the Mid-Atlantic area.
I left the band around 2001, leaving the lead singer, Mike Guggino, as the remaining original member. The next iteration of the band brought a lot of new energy to the band and helped make them indie rock darlings in the Philadelphia area.
Elian
Elian was my other college band. The band consisted of myself, Rob Smith – not that one – and Tony Trinh, of Little League / Verona. We wrote some songs I really loved, but never found a singer. So, we recorded a demo and sadly, called it a day.
