Five reasons your web app may be slow

Is your app not doing what you want? Let’s try to diagnose the problem!

5. Your idea is un-Lovable

You signed up for a Pro plan on Lovable and instructed it to “Make Notion, but better,” but it turns out that, just like the two million other people who wrote the same prompt, it didn’t work.

4. You are 0-for-Fiverr

Turns out the 16-year-old kid who thinks Java and JavaScript are the same thing thing couldn’t build your app.

3. You installed every plugin you saw listed on Reddit

We get it. You got tired of watching video tutorials and wanted immediate fixes. So, you searched for essential CMS plugins on Reddit and installed every one on the list. Start by getting rid of at least 30–35 of the Instagram feed plugins you added.

2. You have not tried rebooting

Have you tried rebooting? Call tech support. I bet they’ll ask if you tried rebooting. Try rebooting your computer. That is a sure fire way to fix your slow web app.

1. You are really high and staring at a microwave

Nothing happens as you slide your frozen burrito around and click on it. Turns out you’re looking at a microwave, not a computer. Also, you’re a landscaper who has never made a web app. We’ve all been there.
